Arrive in Istanbul
and take the connecting flight to Adana.
The followers of Jesus were first called Christians in
Antioch (Acts 11:25-26).
Paul and Barnabas were sent on their 1st missionary
journey from the cave church, St Peter’s Grotto Church (Acts
13:1). Visit Mosaic
Museum and Selucia Peria.
Overnight in Adana.

Adana / Tarsus / Nevsehir (Cappodocia)
Visit Tarsus, the
birth place of Paul (Acts 9:11; 21:39; 22:3) and the
traditional ‘well of Paul’ and then a nice drive to Nevesehir
(Cappodocia). Overnight in Nevsehir (Cappodocia).

Cappadocia
Cappadocia is a
world cultural heritage site and here you will see the
fascinating variety and artistry of more than a thousand
churches and chapels of early day Christians, all hollowed out
of the stone. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5 27 May 08, Tuesday
Cappadocia / Derbe / Lystra / Konya
Goreme, Zelve,
Derinkuyu Underground City.
The early Christians took refuge from Roman persecution
here. Numerous religious cave paintings display evidence of
early Christianity.
Follow the journey of the apostle Paul as you go to Derbe,
Lystra and finally to Konya. Overnight in Konya.
Day 6

Konya / Pisidian Antioch / Laodicea / Pamukkale
Drive to Yalvac (Pisidian
Antioch) and visit the city where Paul and Barnabas visited on
Paul’s first missionary journey. After that, visit Laodicea,
one of the seven churches in Revelation, before going to
Pamukkale. Overnight in
Pamukkale.
Day 7

Pamukkale / Philadelphia / Sardis / Ephesus
Tour of Pamukkale
(“Cotton Castle”) a UNESCO world cultural heritage natural
wonder of hotsprings set amid historic ruins. After this, the
group will visit Philadelphia before reaching Ephesus (Kusadasi).
Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 8

Ephesus /Selcuk / Sardis/ Smyrna (Izmir)
Ephesus is the place
where Paul preached to the Ephesians on his 2nd and 3rd
journeys (Acts 19:1-41).
The amphitheater here is the location where craftsmen
who made shrines of Artemis rioted against Paul.
Ephesus was home to Mary mother of Jesus, and John.
Visit Ephesus Ruins, St John Church.
It is the first of the churches mentioned in Revelation
chapters 1-3. Overnight
in Izmir.
Day 9

Izmir / Pergamum / Troas / Truva
/ Canakkale
Depart Izmir for a
scenic drive to Canakkale via Pergamon. It is at Truva where
the famous Trojan horse of Troy came from.
Overnight in Canakkale.
Day 10 01 Jun 08, Sunday
Istanbul
Drive to Istanbul
and reach Istanbul for a day of shopping at the famous Grand
Bazzar and a cruise down the Bosphorous. Overnight in
Istanbul.
Day 11 02 Jun 08, Monday
Istanbul / Singapore
Full day tour of the
old city: Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque, Aya Sophya (Hagia
Sophia) and Topkapi Palace, before going to the airport in the
evening. (TK66 depart at 2345)
