| Church Choir
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching
and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:16
The Life Church Choir sings to
glorify God. It is God Almighty that we prayerfully seek to draw
attention to. And music is the chief means to our end. Music is
therefore to be governed by sound theology, composed along fine melody
lines. In all, we hope to "sing God’s words to God’s people for God’s
glory".

Theme
Our theme is found in Colossians
3:16 which reads, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”.
In practical terms, Life Church
Choir desires to present a rich repertoire of sacred music. To
accomplish that, individual members must strive to be well-trained,
biblically sound and a love for singing. We will provide the training
through workshops on choir ministry, vocal classes, small or mixed group
singing and choir presentations. The bible is emphasised as well and we
have our advisor to exhort us, regular devotions and monthly prayer cum
sharing sessions to remind us on God’s word. To top it up, fellowship is
not neglected at all. Organised activities such as retreats, barbecues,
home visitations and lunches are also scheduled within the programmes as
well.

The Church Choir meets every week
after Sunday School at 10.40am in Beulah House. We are a group of thirty
who regularly gathers to sing for the Lord, and we are ever-ready to
welcome you to join us.
Areas of Service Open
(1) CHOIR MINISTRY
The Life Church Choir invites pianists and all who desire to serve in
the choir ministry to join us. We sing to glorify God and it is Him
that we prayerfully seek to draw attention to. Music is therefore to be
governed by sound theology, and used to edify, convict and challenge
believers in Christ to live holy and victorious lives for God. Singers
do not need to have prior musical or choral training/skills, only a
desire to serve God and a love for singing. Practices are held on
Sunday at 10.30 am after Sunday School in the Beulah House Music Room.
