Welcome to our Adult Sunday School Classes! 

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word. Psalm 119:105-107
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Proverbs 6:23, 24

Daily reading and studying of God’s word are necessity for every spirited Christian.  As the Psalmist shares that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path.  Comparing Psalm 119:105 and Proverbs 6:23, word of God shows us His commandments, teaches us how to live a God-glorifying life and provide us guidelines to overcome trials and temptations.

With the 3 purposes stated above, it reminds me of the User Guide of my mobile phone.  The manual cautions us of any mis-used. It also provide clear instructions on how to use the phone effectively and help us in trouble-shooting.  How many of us have failed to read the User Guide and resulted in spending excessive time in trying to understand the equipment we have on our hands.

Similarly, our Creator has written an Instruction Manual for his creatures.  God understands us more than we can understand ourselves.  God has provided us the Holy Bible that gives us the own counsel of man. The Bible is more than an instruction manual; it reveal the history of our patriots and warn us of all the pitfalls of man; it teaches us how to live our present life victoriously and shows us the joy we had in the Lord Jesus Christ when we enter into His eternally glory in Heaven with our Almighty God.

Come and learn more about the Revelation of Jesus Christ taught by Eld Sherman Ong.  It is never too late to learn God’s word.  We know that finishing well is more important than starting well.
