The Emmanuel Reformed Bible Lectures (ERBL) is a joint project of several like-minded Bible-Presbyterian Churches in Singapore designed to help equip Christians for God’s service through Bible-based, Reformed theological teaching.
The lectures are conducted 3 nights each week in Beulah House which has been recently built at 10 Gilstead Road by Life Bible-Presbyterian Church. This is centrally located at an easily accessible part of Singapore near to Newton MRT station.
Monday -Biblical Missiological Trends and Strategies by Rev Dr Jack Sin, M.Div, D.Min (Pastor of Maranatha Bible-Presbyterian Church)

THIS COURSE will cover the study of the OT
and NT in its relevant passages that relate to biblical missions and gospel outeaches. Special attention will be given to understanding and applying the biblical principles and strategies of the Book of Acts, the theological foundations and the local church as God’s ordained base for the propagation of the gospel and the setting up of new mission stations, the potential problems and challenges involved in doing so and the possible scriptural solutions to resolving them. (2 CREDITS)
Wednesday -The Ten Commandments by Rev Charles Seet, B.Th, M.Div (Pastor of Life Bible-Presbyterian Church)

THIS COURSE is an exposition of the Ten
Commandments, approaching them as a manual for Christian living. The principles derived from them and related passages of Scripture are applied to difficult yet practical issues of our time and questions of right and wrong in the modern world. (2 CREDITS)
Thursday -The Theology of Prayer by Rev Isaac Ong, M.R.E., B.A., Ph.D (candidate) (Pastor of Calvary Bible-Presbyterian Church)

THIS COURSE presents a summary of what the Bible teaches about prayer. It also examines the theological and practical aspects of prayer. The objective of the course is to develop a spiritually enriching prayer life in the Christian, his family, and his church. (2 CREDITS)

THE COURSES are open to the public. No minimum educational requirement is needed. However those who are interested in working toward a Certificate in Biblical Studies (20 credit hours) must have a minimum of 5 GCE ‘O’ level passes or its equivalent.
THE REGISTRATION FORM should be completed and submitted with a course fee of $20 per course for audit and $30 for credit to the Life B-P Church Office at 10 Gilstead Road, Singapore 309064. An ‘Early Bird Discount’ of $5 will be given to those who register before 21 December 2009.
